Privacy Policy for Memory Wallet

Last updated: August 7, 2026

Memory Wallet is an iOS app that turns a photo you choose into a polaroid-styled Apple Wallet pass. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and how to get it deleted.

What we collect

We do not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, or any usage data, and there are no third-party SDKs in the app.

How it’s stored

Photos are stored in Cloudflare R2 (object storage) and pass details (caption, location, date, account info) are stored in Cloudflare D1 (a SQL database). Both are part of our own backend — we don’t use any other cloud or analytics provider. On the free tier, the cloud copy of a memory is kept for 7 days (for sharing and Wallet delivery); the memory itself stays on your device.

Sharing

Every pass and its photo get a link containing a long, random, unguessable identifier. These links are unlisted: they aren’t shown to other users, aren’t published anywhere, and are marked so search engines don’t index them. They are not password-protected, though — anyone who has a link can view that pass or photo without signing in. That is what makes adding to Apple Wallet and sharing with friends work, and it also means you should treat sharing a link like sharing the photo itself. Deleting a memory permanently disables its links. We never share your data with third parties, and we don’t sell data.

Subscriptions

Memory Wallet Pro is billed through Apple. We never see your payment details; we verify the subscription with Apple’s servers using its transaction identifier only.
